A few Scraps + Audio 4/1/07

Post by Bycross Radio »

Only using the portable, but here is the list of stations heard this sunday 4/1/07. The QRM in the recordings (A constant 'click') is a cattle fencer.

Firstup at 9:30, a very strong station playing german music. Possibly Cupid Radio or Radio PaardenKracht? I only have analouge tuning scale, so I can't give you a freq! Anyway, the Audio is here:

At 10am WMR came in, the signal weak but clear:

At 1:00pm I turned the radio back on. A quick check proved WMR was still going, with vastly improved signal:

Then, at 1:30, I logged Radio Westcoast after a quick tune down the dial: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/48119182/
(Formerly logged as Campervan)

Most of the day was spent listening to both WMR ansd R.Westcoast. It must be noted that I enjoy WMR very much, and oftenhave them on for an hour or more! Till next time, best of luck.

Hello Bycross radio.
The audio file of Campervan is in fact Westcoast R.
Campervan had big problems with the modulation this sunday and only put out a carrier, no audio.

Greetings Peter J

Thank you guys! I gather that Westcoast had a phonecall with a request for U2 on a sunday? One very confused listener...

Hello Bycross Radio,

Hello Marcel,

He wrote about that; He only has a analog readout, no digital scale so he could not give exact freq.
