:D You can hear KBC Radio on medium wave in Eastern and Central Europe on 1386 kHz [500,000 watts] and 6255 kHz [100,000 watts]. These transmissions are comming from Lithuania. There website is www.kbcradio.eu but is currently under construction.

Listening here on 6255. Very strong here in southern England - peaking at 9+30dB. Good selection of music.

Also heard well at moment is Chris Ise and Andy Walker on Mystery Radio on 6220.

Car radio rx of KBC on 1386

Hi folks,

Well, I tried to get home in time to tune in KBC on 6255 kHz, but things didn't turn out that way. So I tuned into 1386 kHz on my Grundig "Smart Car" radio on the journey home. Not a lot of luck, with BigL on 1395 and France on 1377 causing extreme QRM, but I was able to hear the odd ID and "bursts" of music through the splash from above and below.
:(
Maybe I'll have better luck next week if I get home in time to tune in on the IC-R75, which is a bit more selective ...
