Better frequency readings

To get better frequency readings :

use ECSS, that is tuning AM signals as if they were SSB (lower or upper)

then set the fine tune until the whistle become low pitched, and lower (inaudible, but with a
beating). When you hear almost clearly the station, that's it : you've got the true carrier
frequency. (Try on a station with a well known frequency, maybe Deutsche Welle, not an exotic broadcaster in order to check the fine tuning).
