Hello!

I drove out to my QTH just to see if I could hear Intersound/Overdrive on 6275 kHz. And I heard a few more pirates this afternoon aswell.

6524 UNID station with music from the movie Titanic "Love must go on"
poor signal strenght

6310 Heard a station first strong but later the signal was fading, already at 14.30 but at 16.13 music "Hey Jude" and after that heard ID but cannont hear what he says. Anyone who heard aswell?

6300 13.31 strong station playing mx "These city walls" UNID ?

6300 15.45 Radio Holland AM with CQ to stations and music Wild World and ABBA, mention e-mail and SMS nr

6300 16.00 Radio Campervan with CQ to Radio Holland AM

6275 Intersound Radio and Overdrive was first heard at 13.58 UTC but at this point the recption was very poor, barely audioble. But as the afternon went on the signal improved aswell and the SINPO was at times 34333 when not the RTTY was interfering. But most times there where RTTY on nearby. Nice to hear them.

Well not to bad.
All the best from Göran in Sweden :beerparty:

Thanks Marcel for your information.
Well I did suspect that it was Radio Ramona, but they are usually heard much better. Therfore I wasn't 99% sure.

Hi Göran,

Think the UNID on 6310 was DRP Radio from Southern Germany. (Schwartzwald)
I heard him too, and he was als on at 2-1-07, same frequenty, same time.
I had a qso with him, he told me that he was using low power, only 10 (!) watts.
But he was difficult to understand, voice mod. was very dull.
Music mod. was ok. His signal overhere: S-8.
(He received me with S-9+20)

I'm not entirely sure i catch his call correct, first i thought he was saying ELP, but then it sounded more as DRP.

Greetings, Albert.

Thank you very much for listening, Goran! Great that you copied us in Sweden! We were on air with 10 watts and a short halvewave-dipol with coils in the middle of every length. Total length is less then six metres. This antenna hang on the attic of my house, so it can't be better! We are very happy with all the respons of our transmission! In the comin' days you get the special "Christmas/New Years"-QSL at home.

Hello Albert and all the others,

yes correct station name is DRP Radio. He must be long time off air. Didnt read any log from the station about months. Yesterday could only receive the Scotland-signal, talking about the rapport with DRP. Of course, seems theres a lot of activity from the Netherlands also on daytime hours. see my logs on the following blog.
