Not having a whole lot of luck thus far, but I did wake up and make it to the radio at 0855 to hear the last 5 minutes of a station on 6305. Nice strong signal, playing "New Year's Day" by U2 & then a folk song, which the op talked over. I haven't gone back & relistened to the recording yet, so I didn't get the ID, but I did hear "best wishes to you" & some other bits. It's a shame, that's by far the best signal I had.

Right now, I have a carriers on 6211.18, 6307.14, 6401

This was definitly Radio Boomerang - I was listening in on a portable with a telescopic whip, and they were easily twice as strong as my local FM powerhouse, which struggles to make it through our valley. I would be very surprised if they are not heard in the USA! I have WMA Audio here:

Thanks for the tip! I also heard Boomerang last year, but didn't get around to writing a report. Guess I should do it this time...

:)

Have a great NYE/NYD!

Fantastic signal from Radio Boomerang this morning!! Easily the strongest signal on the band. Sounded like a local!! And caught almost the entire broadcast from 0829-0904 UTC. Never heard so strong before!!

Thanks for the tips. Hmmm...me thinks the new antenna might need some more work. Boomerang was a nice S9, but I've had a bunch of stations better (Union R., Mystery R., Spaceman, etc.). BTW, does Boomerang have an e-mail or regular mailing address?

Thanks much & have a great evening!

That is correct.

Too bad this new (temporary) antenne is (for more than half it's size) above my neighbours corn-field, so I can use it only few weeks during the year.

:-(

Greetings and happy 2007 to Dave, Andrew and George.
