Conditions were very poor here across the Atlantic again, Christmas morning today, but at least a few things were heard. Any help with these UNIDs would be greatly appreciated. Will have a detailed report tomorrow.

6296.79 Carrier at 0801 and possible audio at 0809.
6280.8 Someone here from 0802 past 0835. Orion??
6324.93 Orion?? Sounded like John at 0814.
6298.3v First noted drifting quickly at 0816 on 6297.4 and up to and settling on 6298.4 by 0836.
6272.02 Definitely someone here 0823-0850+
6306.1 Extremely weak carrier at 0825, gone by 0837 check.
6285.07 Weak carrier at 0842. Impossible.

I have checked the 6280,8 kHz recording. It was Radio Black Power with address to Neede in Holland.

Hi Dave

BRIs TX was on air at that time with no MOD just warming up the rig, a few minutes after that time Xmas music was broadcast with only 60% MOD level, full MOD at 10am when programmes started, so you just missed us by a few minutes.

All the best

Roger Davis

Thanks Roger

There is a possibility that BRI could run a test between 7am and 9am UK time Boxing day morning using 6240khz, lets hope conditions are better than today.

Regards

Roger

Dave, the UNID on 6285.07 must have been WNKR as it's the exact freq I put the Tx on, mind you I only turned on at 08:40 so I may not have had the audio on when you tuned in.

Dave Martin.
