Some logs from a very windy Guernsey

Hi Folks,
Here are a few stations I managed to receive throughout the day, mainly on 48m. Conditions this morning appeared quite reasonable, if a bit variable. A pity the same couldn't be said about the weather conditions though, with storm force winds bringing down trees, etc... Luckily the tree that holds up my makeshift longwire aerial is still standing

08.55 : 6299.40 : 222 : UNID : (Quintus maybe..?)
09.06 : 6401.05 : 333 : WMR
09.10 : 6265.00 : 222 : Premier Radio Int.
10.30 : 6425.00 : 111 : (Ascona?) : (Pres.) Weak signal, too weak to truly ID

11.15 : 6315.00 : 222 : (Radio Blackbeard?) : ID not 100%. A bit noisy, with muffled mic audio. UK station? Child also heard with OM. Mx included Meat Loaf.
11.40 : 6280.00 : 111 : UNID : Dutch ? mx
11.55 : 6524.00 : 111 : (Ramona?) : (Pres.) Weak signal here. No literal ID. Heard playing "Days of Pearly Spencer".

15.06 : 6300.00 : 222 : UNID : Dutch ? mx. Fading into the noise at times.
----------------------------------------------
Some of the SIO ratings noted here were very variable. Plus weak entries like Ascona or Ramona, would probably be much better if I improved my aerial somewhat. But for now I will just have to make do.
73's all,
Robin
