Hi folks,
time was needed in the afternoon, so my log got rich only in the morning. Conditions were not bad, but in my area I start experiencing noise on 48mb even during the day.
Anyways, let's go:
At 7.07 GMT, on 6275, Laser Hot Hits broadcasts a spot about requesting copies of the programs of the station. Demands have to be sent to an address in Ontario, Canada. At 7.43, "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'", from Scissors Sisters, gets airing, followed by an advertising for a free radio magazine. Sinpo: 34333. Audio available, and the station will get it.
On another hand, if someone can tell me how this magazine is, I'd be delighted to hear. I'd be interested in subscribing.
From 6.50 GMT onwards, on 6209, a UNID broadcasts non stop music. I noted, among others, Thriller (Michael Jackson), Friends Will Be Friends (Queen), I'm Still Loving You (Scorpions), and Borderline (this latter at 7.47). No jingles, nor dj, for the time I heard. Someone mentioned Classick Rock Radio and IRF 501 were both there, but I heard the latter yesterday night and the format wasn't this one, so it had to be the former. Sinpo: 43434.
At 7.16 GMT, id "Good Morning, this is Radio Blackbird from the Netherlands" rocked 6315. Signal was weak due to a digital transmission on a close frequency (I had to switch to 6312 to get proper readibility, even if I lost something in terms of signal). Previously, the station played "Goodbye Alligator". At 7.32, the dj mentions "Revolution" from The Beatles. Sinpo: 23322.
At 7.38, on 6300, some schlager provides warm-up for Orion Radio broadcast, that starts shortly after 8 GMT. Dj John mentions sun is shining, and thanks various people for sms. He also mentions Cupid. Very good signal: 44434. Audio is available and will be sent to the station.
At 8.08, on 6285, Radio Saturnus plays some blues with Alannah Myles "Black Velvet". At 8.16, dj gives sms hotline 0031612065229 and Radiosaturnus#hotmail.com address. At 8.21 a track with string is on, and at 8.36 it's time for "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" in Madonna's rendition, from the movie "Evita".
At 8.25, on 6290, Paardenkracht Radio dj greets listeners. Sinpo: 34434.
At 8.35, on 6305, UNID rockin' on with Van Halen's Jump. Sinpo: 34333.
That's it. I'm pretty satisfied for the time I had, and in this week-end I got in my log four new stations, so what to ask for more!
As always, Degen DE1103, telescopic coupled with a wire.
Help with ID's highly appreciated.
Ciao,
Chris
