Conditions this weekend were neither poor nor good,but very changeable & hard to predict.I think the best explanation is by Dave Valko in an earlier posting where he explains sunspot activity.
Friday & Saturday seemed hard to get results,but Sunday morning seemed much better.

6220Khz – 2116-2040 – Mystery Radio – 44444 – S9 + – Superb signal.
3920Khz – 2100-2105 – Radio Boomerang – 33232 – S6 – Struggling through the noise.
3927Khz – 2050-2100 – Radio Spaceman – 33232 – S7 – Also struggling through the noise & went off early.
Amazing that such powerful stations as Boomerang & Spaceman were having problems.

1647Khz – 1751-1756 – Radio Barones – 45433 – S8 – Strongest signal on a nice quiet MW band,but still weak for him.
6265Khz – 1529-1532 – Westcoast Radio – 34333 – S7 – in QSO with;
6265Khz – 1534-1537 – Voice of the Netherlands – 44334 – S8 – Also in QSO,but not heard were Radio Titanic,& Radio Rob 007.
6400Khz – 2305-2310 – W.M.R. – 34333 – S7 – Nice to hear the Scots back on again with superb programmes & a good signal too!

There was a big mess of stations on 6295-6305Khz around 1230 all coming on top of each other.
Nice to hear a broad range of broadcasters from different countries doing different things.We now have a very nice mix of stations & operators,some that have been around “Since God was a boyâ€
