I've been listening both at home and at the remote site at Pennsylvania State Game Lands #26 for the past 2 weeks comparing reception. Found that the T2FD and Windom antennas at home perform just as well as the BOG at the remote site. But of course I get much more local noise here in town.

Conditions were horrible on this side of the Atlantic this weekend. Right on cue, a Coronal hole moved into Earth position and caused geomagnetic disturbances for the weekend!! Never during the week!! Anyway, I was able to hear a few signals. Nothing was identified though and any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

First the loggings from home.

6210 R. Borderhunter *2153:52 -2345:30 R.B. was kind enough to make a special broadcast so I could experiment and test the new antennas as compared to the usual BOG setup at the SGL. Came on at exactly 2153:52, and didn’t get audio until a minute later. Dance mx at 2207. At 2224, setup the Sony ICF-SW77 to record the signal, then left for the remote site. “American Womanâ€
