This is pretty much my first time listening properly for pirate stations.

All received on a Realistic DX394 with the standard telescopic antenna.

Most of these i was unable to identify, so any help would be appreciated!

1)

5725kHz - 07:02 UTC - 25222 - Orion Radio

Talking then music. Song "Nothing compares to you". Signal was fairly weak at times but i could still pick it out easily over the noise.

2)

6240kHz - 11:55 UTC - 35333 - Laser Hot Hits

Playing music with talking inbetween, quite a clear signal, suffering a little from propagatiom but not too badly. I believe this is relayed by Jolly Roger?

3)

6265kHz - 11:57 UTC - 25332 - UNID

Played "Behind blue eyes" then cut off, i guess it was the end of the transmission.

4)

6275kHz - 12:00 UTC - 34222 - UNID

Heard talking and i think i heard "Amsterdam" being mentioned

5)

6280kHz - 12:08 UTC - 24222 - UNID

Playing music

6)

6308kHz (possibly 6310?) - 12:12 UTC - 25222

Talking/playing music then i lost the signal.

Hi,

Your UNID on 6280Khz was Radio Merlin International, they played some old offshore Pirate tapes to start with & then some dance/rap music.
Your other UNIDS have been covered by other posters but 6310Khz could have been one of many.6300-6310Khz was very busy on Sunday.
Welcome to Pirate radio listening & welcome to the best forum,ALI!

Andy Richards.
