Goose brain hates merry music !
Some goose brain spent the best part of Saturday afternoon (Dec. 14th, 2013)
jamming the stations on the 48mb with a strong carrier always at approx. 800Hz to 1000Hz
above or below the target stations.
The goose patrolled the 6285-6325 range at 1500 to 1700 UTC, fighting with the best signals.
Radio Underground switched frequency several times to escape the jammer, but was quickly jammed again. Other stations (Tidal Wave and other Dutch(?) stations were also jammed at times, and the situation was not helped by R. Tango Italia looking for a quiet pit in that range.
The goose brain seemed specially angry against stations in the Xmas mood. At 1704 the target band was empty (a few free stations were now in barely suitable slots below 6260), the jammer alone on 6307,8 (maybe trying to push the fishermen from 6307,5 USB), and left at 1708. Maybe his own taste music came on at about 1800 on 6307, some sad sounding music.
Eat a goose for Xmas !
