I see the "Non-stop Music & no ID stations are still there......very boring.
Why don't these guys take a leaf out of Radio Merlin's books........he does non stop music before he starts his programmes
but he uses different themes each time,so it's never boring,and often plays ID jingles too so you know who it is warming up.

To be honest,most of the time us SWL's know,or at least are pretty sure we know who these stations are.
The frequency,the signal strength,the mod,the wideband splatter or narrowband sound,sometimes the time.
But the big giveaway is the music played.Sometimes the style,but usually the actual songs.
Too many operators play the same tunes over and over again.
I've done it too.If you really love your music it is tempting to play your favourite songs.But sometimes I think it's
laziness too.Some ops just use the same records that are still laying around in the studio.
It is boring for us listeners to hear these same songs over and over again.
It's even worse when we can actually ID a "Non-Stop Music" station because of his choice of songs.........

I didn't have time to listen that much this weekend,so it seems to have been a little quiet to me.
Some good stuff heard though.
