Hi! My name is Gabriel. This is my first post here. I used to be an Uruguayan swl looong time ago, now testing some SDR just to listen to those European pirate radios I always heard about but never be able to listen to from my country. I use the SDR-Radio v1.4 via HB9DRT and catched my first pirate:

Saturday, 5 November

0830 UTC, 6300 khz, 35333, Music with lots of interruptions, ID 0830.

I uploaded the ID since I don't understand it. I only understood the 'from Holland' part. Any help appreciated... It's a little mp3:

0843 UTC, 6324 khz, 45444, Pop music, no ID.
1340 UTC, 6920 khz, 54444, Dutch/German music, no ID, s/off 1354.

73's from Montevideo, Uruguay. :D

Hi Gabriel,

Welcome here!
For me the audiofile sounds as CUPID radio. From the Netherlands indeed.
Think he's also active on this forum, so mayby Cupid can answer it!

Greetings, Albert (R. Scotland/NL)

Thanks! I'll try again asap. By the way, your nick bring me memories of catching Radio Caroline on 6215 khz right from Uruguay back in 1988... using a Sony ICF-7600D and only a longwire.
