3905.07 Skyline International R. 0023 end of song and ID w/ment of the Netherlands, “watts”, and “closing down”. Fair strength but noisy and some Ham QRM. (3 Sept.)

6285 R. Powerline Int. 0015 nice strong signal w/oldies and voice-over ID w/ment of “500 or 600 watts”, morning greetings. Hello to yours truly and Jon in GA. 0058 ID and greetings again over “Get Off My Cloud” by The Rolling Stones. Still going at 0108!! (3 Sept.)

6299.46 Wizard R. Playing mx at 0026 t/in. ID at 0038 but tough copy due to noise and QRM. Played Polka’s then!! (3 Sept.)

6325 R. Marconi “I Hear You Knocking” by Dave Edmunds. 2315 ID “R. Marconi on shortwave” and e-mail at 2318. Strong but noisy conditions. (3 Sept.)

7600.07 Island R. Int. 2319 beginning of Pop song w/very heavy echo voice-over jingle by M. 2319-2326 long Pop song w/W vcls. 2326-2328 live song anmnts by M DJ then ID “That’s it from Island R. Int. on 7600 khz. ?? contact…listeners ?? islandradio@rock.com. I-s-l-a-n-d-r-a-d-i-o @rock.com. islandradio@rock.com...”. 2328-2332 song w/M tlking. Deadair at 2332, then off at 2332:40. Good signal but audio seemed a bit too bassy which made anmnts a little difficult to copy. (3 Sept.)

6375 Black Bandit R. Big signal. C&W mx at 2332. Deadair at 2336. More mx. Nice ID at 2339. “Good evening, good morning, wherever you may be. This is the old Black Bandit R. with a little test here”. Gone by 2351. See 6420. (3 Sept.)

6419.20 Studio 52 Definite carrier and sounded like bits of mx when I tuned here at 2333. Returned at 2341. Possibly anmnts at 2342:45. Went off at 2343. Entirely too much noise to copy weak signals. (3 Sept.)

6420 Black Bandit R. Found here w/oldies at 2351. Deadair then “Listen to Your Heart” by Roxette. Soft instru. then. 0002 ID and testing anmnt. Acknowledged listener in Orlando. Not quite as strong as 6375. (3-4 Sept.)
