Free radio pirates on medium and short wave messageboard of alfa lima

I heard a few stations complaining about conditions today.
I suppose it depends where you are,but for me there was less noise this week than for a long time and
propagation was not that bad.

A good lesson to be learnt for any Short Wave Pirates that complain about lack of response.
The most important thing is to be on the air at about the same time,on about the same frequency on the
same day for most weeks.
My station,Radio Floss,OK a MW station,was on the air on the same frequency,1350Khz,at about the same time,
almost every week,for nearly 6 years.We had no problems with lack of response.
There are only 2 SW Pirates doing this at the moment and I for one,along with many of you out there,always
tune to 3905 on Friday nights and 5820 early on Sunday mornings.
Skyline and Orion have this right.
But you also need to keep your audience.
Both these stations play a good healthy,varied mix of music.You can't get bored!
Other operators.Lesson to be learnt.If you want good response,be reliable.
If you only make sporadic broadcasts,be happy with what you get.

As expected,nice broadcasts from Skyline and Orion.....

Black Power had a very strong signal both on Saturday and today.

Final part of the FRSH history on FRS Holland.Very interesting.Loads of stuff I didn't know.

Did I make a mistake in my log?Did Bonofox really have a huge signal today?If it was him,it was
the best I have ever heard him.

Strongest signal this weekend was my UNID on 6290 today.Any takers?
Then Bonofox(Presumed),Black Power,Orion and FRSH.
Good signals too from North Pole,Black Bandit and Low Power.

On sunday, you did not hear Radio Bonofox (a weak signal on 6300,6 I think),
but a stronger UNID station on 6300,4 that flattened Bonofox for a few minutes.

I did not identify Bonofox either, but as it was a longer transmission, it should be the station herad by several others at times when the strong UNID was not on. I was just sure there were two different stations on 6300,4 and 6300,6.


BTW, who can say what is going on with Continental, Overijssel and Bluestar messing their names ?
