Can I start by wishing you all a very Happy New Year,posters,readers,operators,listeners and even any government officials who may be reading this..........
I was surprised at how busy the bands were on New Years Eve and was only alerted to the fact by "The Pirate Chat".
What a useful service that provides!:-)
Great to hear XTC back after quite a long time.LHH seem a bit better with me on 6210 lately and poorer on 4015.
Mike Radio with a HUGE signal here on Friday.
On Saturday Black Bandit kept sliding up the band from 6330 to 6340,his signal was the same on all frequencies here and he still has the best mod on SW at the moment.I'm curious,does he play mp3's,CD's or vinyl?
Orion on low power today,but I would not have known if he had not announced it.Maybe a touch weaker than normal,but only what you would expect with changing conditions.Maybe a 5 to 10% drop in strength.I bet the percentage drop in power was much higher!
Merlin heard on all the last three days,best signal was on Friday.
I am curious about my UNID's on 6395 and 6425 today,I suspect this was the same station(With a dodgy CD player) the mod was good and the signal so strong that I'm going to guess it may have been Mike Radio...
What does BNA in BNA Radio stand for?
Low Power obviously wasn't low power.......played some really nice music.
Best signals of the long weekend were Mike and Black Bandit,then East Coast?Cupid,Orion and Sonic.
With good signals from Merlin,Blackpower,Victoria,Mustang and Marconi too.
