Report from Dunlo, PA, USA, 14 February 2010

Post by Dave Valko »

The huge weather block over Terry's QTH in Newfoundland continues to push Arctic cold and snow down our way. So the accumulated snow from recent storms hasn't showed the slightest hint of beginning to melt. The snow is waist deep here and difficult to wade through. Of course I haven't been out to the remote site in a few weeks. Although I could probably get the antenna laid out, I imagine it would take 3 or 4 times as long, not to mention the fact I'd be covered in snow. (I would give it a try if conditions turned out to be good). So this report was made from home using the Perseus and T2FD antenna. Conditions appeared to be on the poor side of fair. I have to apologize for lack of program details. Just can't get the quiet conditions required here at home like out at the remote site!!

Hello Dave,

thanks for the report!
I am pleased to hear that you received my signal.
At this time I wanted to use my new transmitter (100 watts)
It broke up, so still the old "reliable" 25 watt s6146 transmitter.

Kind regards,

Hans.
