LOGS : 28 JAN. - 03 FEB. 2013

Post by Ray Lalleu »

  • Hello all,
I can often "phase out" the strongest PLC noise (from next house) on the 48mb, using only one antenna (dipole) and settings on my symetrical ATU. This is very sharp, and at the expense of signal strength, so the weakest stations are almost lost. I don't know how this is possible. Noises from other sources generally cannot be phased out at the same time, or not at all (maybe different settings are to be found). For my logs : stations with \PLC mention can have been heard almost clearly, but with reduced signal strength. BTW, I don't give calibrated S, just subjective strength (and most 'fair' or 'good' are omitted).
