Late logs from Newfoundland Dec 15-20, great conditions!

Post by newfoundland dxer »

Hi everybody:

I am sorry that it has taken so long to post these logs, but it took a very long time to review all my audio files (37 logs last Sunday alone!). I am equally behind on sending reports to stations, but that is my next task to complete. (I have spent too much time listening, and not enough time typing, this week.)

Conditions were good this past weekend, with "all-day" reception on both Saturday and Sunday. There were a lot of stations on the air, and I was fortunate enough to hear many old favourites, as well as several new stations, including Blue House (tent), WMR (my first Scottish pirate), Devalon, Scirocco and Orban.

Hello Terry, Many thanks of your reports of weak Scandinavian voice listened in there NF on 19th and 20th December 2009 (´6205 and 6270 kHz).

It is amazing that our signal travels quite often nowadays that way over Atlantic :D
