London Calling.

Post by Andy Richards »

Another busy weekend,but I did manage to listren a little on Sunday morning;

5815Khz - 0740-0745 - Orion Radio - 45434 - Rolling Stones - "Sympathy for the Devil".
6140Khz - 0910-0915 - EMR - 55544 - The Doves.
6290Khz - 1015-1020 - Radio Borderhunter - 54434 - Darude - "Feel the Beat".
6300Khz - 0835-0840 - UNID - 24432 - Talk and Dutch or German music.
6307Khz - 0855-0900 - Radio Scotland - 34433 - "Voyage,Voyage","Don't fear the Reaper".
6320Khz - 1040-1045 - Radio Quintus - 35333 - "Lola".
6870Khz - 1950-1955 - Playback/Mystery - 35333 - "Superhero".Relaying American podcast.

Strange conditions again.

I would have expected a whacking great signal from Scotland,especially with the power he was running,but he was only fair with me.Maybe did better at longer distances.(I see Toutatis got agood signal).
Orion has got his regular strong signal back with me,nice!
Borderhunter was the strongest with me,after months of "Average" or fading signals,he was rock solid.
Interesting thing here is the distances between London and the above stations.They are all quite different.
So the skip propagation is working in an interesting way.
