Westcoast Finland log: April 19 & 20

Post by Jan II »

Have been cutting trees in the big forrest both mornings and afternoons, so only eveninglogs. Too tired to stay awake for the americans. I see Marcel picked a nice bouquet of them again...
Pity the 75 mb was covered in noice all weekend, no free radios at all audible.

Saturday April 19
6220,0 2005 Mystery Radio "Be my baby" made me stop here for a while, but only nonstop music & IDs. 35433
6275,0 1836 Radio Calypso playing offshore piratetunes and old steelguitar hits, later schlager and dutch music. Said this was a "short modulationtest". This short test ended 2040, but of course 2 hours is a very short test with the Calypso timescale. 45333
6312,1 1833 Radio Barretina/Radio l'Arboc talking and playing music. 25232
6925,0 1934 Spider Radio with the lady-Spider announcing the mailaddress as usual, followed by old blues. 35333

Sunday April 20
6220,0 1750 Mystery Radio with the spooky ID. Nonstop-programme. 35433
6275,0 1707 unid popstation faded up for a moment. "Rivers of Babylon" ended and Kate Bush continued. Didn´t hear any talking. 15311
6306,9 1714 Radio Royal with the whole royal family heard on the air. Jan, lady Bianca and a child (a prince?). Greetings to Iann in France several times. Sign off 1852. 25232
6309,1 1852 unid playing dance/techno. Abrupt off at 1903. Didn´t speak. 35333
6312,1 1800 Radio Barretina/Radio l'Arboc playing soft music. 25332
6925,0 1911 Spider Radio strong this evening. David Bowie on the plate this time. 35443
