When I checked the propagation data on the Internet at 0620, the K Index had risen to 3 and the MUF between Europe and North America was down to 5 mhz. I couldn't hear a thing on my rx and was getting only a weak signal from LHH on 4025.3 on the web rx. Later, at 0656, Nacional Saharui 6300 was barely peaking at S-6 and just S-2 on the web rx. It looked hopeless but conditions seemed to improve after 0800. I would say I wish I would have gone out to listen but we got a weird thunderstorm around 0915, so it was probably good that I didn't!!
