Not much to report this time. Propagation conditions were horrible this
weekend.
6882 Pirate Music Got a nice confirmation e-mail from Adriano McGiver for reception and MP3. (9 Jan.)
1645 R. Barones 2125-2134 Nice Schlagers, M w/DT and EG anmnts. IDs as "R. Barones, 1645". 2132 said hello in EG to Steve of R. Underground, then mentioned Jack Russell at WMR saying he thought they'd come back soon. Back to mx. Excellent signal. (12 Jan.)
Awoke at the usual time, checked the bands, and only heard a weak Mystery R. barely peaking at S-3. Heard what sounded like a very weak open carrier on 6400 also, but that was all. Nothing else. Solar Flux was 76, A Index was 2, and K Index was 2, and no solar storms. The maximum usable frequency over western Europe at 0620 UTC was only 5 mhz!! Indeed, Mystery R. was only peaking at S-7 on the Web receiver. (13 Jan.)
1653 UNID. Noted "Roll Out the Barrel" at t/in around 0645. More songs, anmnt at 0657, then off at 0658. Couldn't copy ID. Web rx. (13 Jan.)
1620 R. Zonnester Nice signal at 0717 w/schlager mx. 0725 voice-over anmnt by M anncr, good mornings to the 'zenders', ID, and ending w/ID and morning greeting again, then cont. mx. 0745 short possibly canned anmnt, and back to mx and live voice-over anmnt. Speaking too fast. Web rx. (13 Jan.)
6882 Pirate Music After Achim mentioned this was being heard in Germany, tuned here and found a poor fady signal w/Dance mx. Didn't hear it before. Web rx. (13 Jan.)
5815 Orion R. 0805 "Oh Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison. 0806 John w/ID anmnt, morning greetings, etc. Into "Have You Ever Seen the Rain". Poor and fady, and signal quality almost identical to Pirate Music. Web rx. (13 Jan.)
