6275 Testing?

Post by curious george »

Listening in on the UK webreceiver, sounds like someone's testing on 6275 kHz at 1328 UTC, with a Billy Joel song. SIO 333 in England.

Just caught the ID as "Radio Rainbow International" at 1332 UTC. It was a little difficult to understand the female's voice; the voice sounded a bit over-modulated.

Music audio sounds fine, you need to work on the voice audio. It sounds very muffled.

I stand corrected. The live microphone audio from the male announcer was crystal clear. It's just the pre-recorded female ID that is muffled.

Keep up the good work, it sounds good!

Thanks for the greetings, I'm now recording some audio for you using my computer. Do another live announcement if you wish to hear what that sounds like.

Send me a private message with an e-mail address, and I'll e-mail the audio to you.

Station may have gone off the air at 1350 UTC. Conditions were rapidly deteriorating just prior to this, however, so I can't be sure.
