Night owl time
Hello, night owl listeners!
Sometimes your logs are not as readable as they should, just because of late night listening sessions and transmissions going past 23.59 UTC. Sometimes, it is not clear if a tip dated 0030 is from the Saturday to Sunday night, or was from the Friday to Saturday night. Of course, this happens more often from those of you sorting their tips by frequency order.
So, there is a way to make things clear: for listening sessions and transmissions going past midnight UTC, use time stamps greater than 23.59. A transmission ending at 0030 UTC of the next day should be stamped 2430* UTC, and 0115 becomes 2515 UTC, and so on. Then go asleep, and the next morning, 0900 is 0900 as normal.
This way to write down late night times is often used for city transport timetables, just to make clear that a bus or subway go on past midnight, so you can look at the Saturday timetable even you are still on the way after 0000 of the Sunday. Also do make your night logs unmistakable, use this "night owl time" !

PS. A star "*" before/after a time is a good short to write down beginning/ending time of a transmission.
