Do operators mostly have better receive setups than listeners?

Yes allways,as they have a better antenna system

No never, as anoraks put them selves out to have the best setup.

WNKR 3940 not heard

Post by Dave »

It amazes me that We have not been logged, yet I can hear us some 100 miles away from the site!
Is this because some of the listeners RX set-ups are not as good as they could be? see poll.
Just thought it was time to provoke some conjecturer on the subject .

Weak signal in Poland. Many fadings, but I've heard clearly your ID. Similar reception like station from 3932.

Conditions are not good here on 76 mtrs. Yes i can hear WNKR on 3940 but signal is around 3 to 4 with much noise also, i can hear some music playing. There is also a station on 3932.8 but not stronger than WNKR. Also it looks like the conditions are the same on the 48 and MW, lots of quick fading and noise.

"This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us" ... or at least that's what's being played at 21.46 utc.

Not a bad reading on the "s" meter, but very noisy reception. Still some static crashes about. Overall, peaking about s9+10, but fluctuating quite rapidly.
But still ... it's always good to hear you guys. :D
