Glasgow SW log, Sun 29th April

Post by undigest »

Few stations heard this morning and weaker than usual, with a lot of local TV noise and deep fading. Most signals had faded out by 1000 UTC.

5725kHz, Orion Radio saying hello to Marcel at 0715 UTC + mentioning other stations on the air. 35433, improving to 45433 by 0730.

6210kHz, Radio Borderhunter greeting David and Jaroslav at 0843 UTC. 34433.

6220kHz, Radio Marabu, IDing "Hier ist der Marabu" at 0748 UTC. 24322.

6245kHz (approx) JRRI at 1012 UTC giving an address in Waterford and playing country music. Testing, I think... 23322 with TVI + UTE QRM.

6305kHz (approx), UNID playing non-stop oldies, "Eloise", "Everlasting Love", "Massachusetts", "Down By the River" and "Proud Mary" heard between 0952 and 1007 UTC. 22322 under TVI.

6310kHz, Radio Scotland International, taking a phone call from Marcel "on a fairly beautiful Sunday morning" at 0726 UTC. 33322 with TVI.

6325kHz, Radio Quintus, giving SMS 0031 6411 76982 and playing a record for me at 0832 UTC... 33333.

All frequencies +/- a few kHz...
FRG-7 + indoor wire + matching transformer.

Best to all,
Peter
