Terve Andy! Kiva kuulla vähän suomenkieltäkin välillä 48 metrillä, vaikka se nyt tuli Spacemannin kautta... Perhaps english is more comfortable for people in this forum after all. (By the way, my language is swedish. I belong to a small minority of swidishspeaking folks here along the c...

Hello Tony!

I thought about you when I saw the announcement of this Radio Vihor. Nice that you also noted it.

Did you hear this transmission? Pancevo is only 25 km from you... :P

Hello Harri and Jim! Not much Vihor up here (I think). To low A-index... Serbia wants bad radioweather to get through up here with short antennas... :( I checked the frequencies 20-21 UTC: 1650 a station playing greek music. Strong echo on the talking. 1655 Klas Snoek QSO with Oldtimer, Transparant ...

Westcoast Finland log; May 10 & 11

The A-index was lower than in long time so I was wondering if I should try the radio at all this weekend. Saturday sounded as I was afraid of, no stations at all before the evening. Sunday was a little better, but again weak signals. I´m glad that so many stations were on air in the evenings, it sa...

The signalstrength going down :) As usual I guess that I don´t hear you any more after 0900 when the daylight is eating all signals. :( Perhaps after 1600 UTC I will hear...

Hello folks! Again one weekend closer to the summer, also meaning shorter mornings and more noice on the bands here in the north. Luckily the thunderstorms have stayed away so far... Strange weekend this with only Spider heard of the "regular" weekend stations. No Playback, no Laser, no Ba...

Hello Iann! I was listening to that station too 1907-1939. Stones, Beatles, Blondie... Nice music. At 1908 there was a live timeannouncement as 1808 and an announcement "...from the west coast of Ireland". At 1914 there was an ID "... Radio International". Irritating this, the si...

Hello all of you! I listened to Lowland around 2100 UTC on 6310,4 kHz dominating over Barretina on 6311,1. I don´t know how long Lowland was on the air as I was busy on 6882... On 6265 I heard ROZ from Holland, but he signed off at 2026 UTC, so I guess there must have been something else there late...
