This was with rather low power (200 watts) with the good old Rohde & Schwartz SK-050 TX.
Unfortunally, the other more powerful TX is not capable to work at 19 m band.

Only due the very bad weather... :evil: nothing else to do. :wink: In the summer, i spend most sundaymornings riding on my off-road motorbike....

Hi Andy, Thanks for the report! FM bands are crowded with pirates again past week, but today (31-12) it's total chaos. Many, many stations, who all want to use the few clear freq. available. 10 KW is not enough for a good reception nowedays... Some pirates use 15, 20, and at least one of them has 30...

Hi Andy, Thanks for reporting and comments about modulation. For my ears it seems the mod. make no difference at all on the freq. i was on at 28-11. (6395, 6202, 6160) Was using the same audio output on all freq. :-k But offcourse the French music was not played just as loud as the one of Motorhead....
